Where is Joe's forge in Great Expectations?

Joe's forge house in the BBC's 2011 adaptation of Great Expectations was transformed from a small coal barn on Thornham jetty in Thronham, Norfolk.

The rectangular flint building became Joe Gargery’s home afer set builders extended the original building and covered it with shiplap boarding, adding two artificial chimneys built from plywood and covering the walls in a plaster moulded to look like brickwork.

A false dormer window was added to the roof and lean-to buildings were added to the front with a forge built next to the barn.

The pantiles, which included flecks of moss to complete the effect, were made out of moulded plaster with a hessian sacking backing and stapled to sheet of plywood.
